The paper can be an encore abstract but only if the paper has been published in the last year before the conference.
Acceptance
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee who reserves the right to accept and allocate abstracts for either poster, oral or flash presentation. Presenters will be notified between 1 -7 April 2026 if their abstract has been accepted. All presenters of accepted abstracts must be registered as Congress delegates. The early registration fee will apply.
FIDSSA Awards
Only paid up FIDSSA members will qualify for the award.
Note: Judges’ decision is final.
- Best Oral Presentation: R10 000
- Best Flash Presentation: R5 000
- Best ePoster Presentation: R3 000
- Best Young FIDSSA Presentation: R3 000
- FIDSSA Bursaries: R7 500
Oral & Flash Presentations
The official language of the congress is English. There will be selected oral and flash presentations. PowerPoint template and guidelines for presentation will be included in the abstract acceptance letter.
